What's the difference between Financial Planners, Investment Advisors and Asset Managers?
- "Planners" and "Advisors" typically provide clients with holistic asset allocation advice -- then outsource the actual investment decision making to external professionals like mutual funds.
- Asset Managers like Teewinot are more market-focused, usually managing just a portion of an any individual client's total portfolio. They can also manage mutual funds and private hedge funds.

Absolute Return Strategy
How is an Absolute Return Account like a Hedge Fund?
- We use strategies intended not to be highly correlated with traditional stock and bond market investments.
- Our fees are performance-based, incenting us to produce solid returns for our clients.
How is the Absolute Return Account
different than a Hedge Fund?
- You own the actual account -- titled in your name -- not just shares of a fund or partnership.
- Transparency: You can see all account activity.
- No lockup period -- you can withdraw or deposit funds at any time.
Are there any restrictions on investing in a hedge fund or in a ManyPeaks Account?
- Because Teewinot is compensated by performance fees (a percentage of profits), our clients are legally required to meet Accredited Investor qualifications.
